Congrats Jessica & Gabe!!!!

One of my best friends just got married! I’ve been to many family weddings for the Poons and each one is one huge party and always a lot of fun so I did not expect any less for this wedding. Jess wanted to make sure that everyone had a great time and partied till they dropped. A Christian ceremony took place uptown at SCommAC followed by the party of the year held at the Arcadian Court. Delicious food catered by O&B and drinks flowing enhanced by amazing music and friends made this a night to remember! Congrats!

Congrats to Kristina & Kaushik!

Wow, am I ever behind in posting this “Welcome to the family Kristina!!!!” I was honoured to take part in my cousins wedding this past September in Poughkeepsie. There were two ceremonies on the sunny September afternoon; one traditional Filipino and one traditional Indian. This was then followed by a fantastic reception where everyone was able to let loose and party!

Being part of the wedding party was such an honour! It was a long day full of fun and laughter and great food. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to take as many pictures as I normally would given I was involved but here are a few that I snapped.

Carmen & Daniel….

What a beautiful wedding indeed of two people I’ve gotten to know so well over the years. I’ve only known Daniel for a short time compared to Carmen, but I can see why the two just click. In what started out as a rainy day, turned into a beautiful day with friends and family! The most memorable part would be the ice cream truck coming after the ceremony to feed us all. Great thinking guys! What a great snack!

Eva & Cary….

It’s a long time coming but I’ve been behind in posting about weddings these days, just been going to so many. I met Eva & Cary several months ago over coffee (instant win there given I love coffee) and we got to know each other. They were trying to decide on a photographer and I was lucky enough to be chosen to photograph their wedding.

Set in a rustic Pioneer Village in north Toronto, the wedding was held outdoors on an overcast day. The rain parted ways just in time for the ceremony which went flawlessly and had a beautiful Dr. Seuss theme to their vows. The reception was later held in the Shangri-La and that is when the party began and everyone had a great time! It was an honour to work for you two! Here are a few photos from the big day.
